Where did you grow up?

Binghamton, N.Y.

Can you give me the basics of your career background? Education, years in the industry, years with Collins, etc.

I have been an entrepreneur since 18 yrs old, I started out in telecommunications (cell phones) cabling the servers inside the cell towers.

I educated myself on a need-to-know basis, after tasting a bit of success in business.

I concentrated on business accounting and finance, Computer Science, IT Security, and courses where I could use the instruction immediately. Started, owned, and operated predictive maintenance service companies in Texas and then New York.

How did you get into the industry?

Through my husband.

He was in the power industry, then a vibration analysis consultant he thought I would like it. He was right, I have been in the Manufacturing/Industrial realm for almost 20 years.

What's your favorite part about working in the pvf industry?

This is a new niche for me, I am enjoying the idea of providing facilities with these essential products and looking forward to building strong, lasting relationships across NY.

What kind of passions do you pursue outside of work?

My family. I have been married 25 years, have three kids and one grandson.

I have two children in varsity sports, currently, spend my time at games/meets/tournaments. I love games, whether its sports related, card games or board games, I’ll play.
